Explore the world. Then make a map that tells your story. Equal Earth brings an interactive world atlas and a personal map studio to iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Explore 241 countries, territories, and source regions, compare shapes at a shared map scale, and create colorful maps for presentations, travel ideas, or your next geography project. DISCOVER THE WORLD Search the country library, browse by continent, zoom into the map, and inspect country details. The bundled map works offline. COMPARE, ARRANGE, AND PLAY Compare selected countries at the same map scale. Move countries in Arrange mode, save your arrangement, and use undo and redo as you experiment. Test your knowledge with the find-the-country game. CREATE YOUR OWN MAP Open Map Studio and start with one of 10 palette presets, from Heritage Atlas and Nordic Air to Midnight Gold and Sage & Sand. Change paper, ocean, land, border, and text colors. Give individual countries their own colors. Add a title, subtitle, footer, country labels, and a legend with up to six categories. Watch your design update in the live preview. SAVE AND SHARE YOUR IDEAS Keep multiple custom maps on your device and duplicate a design to try another direction. Export a PNG at 2400, 4800, or 7200 pixels wide. Export an editable JSON design and import it in Equal Earth on another device to continue working. Undo and redo help you refine your map. OFFLINE BY DESIGN No account is required. There are no ads, in-app purchases, analytics, or tracking. Maps and arrangements are stored locally. You choose where exported files go. Optional support and source links open external websites. Cartography credits: Tom Patterson / Equal Earth. Equal Earth projection by Bojan Šavrič, Tom Patterson, and Bernhard Jenny. Made with Natural Earth. The atlas represents countries, territories, and regions from the source artwork. Areas are approximate map-geometry measurements unless an external source is specified. Small island symbols may be enlarged; boundaries and classifications follow the source cartography.
