Textuoso is a privacy-first way to back up, restore, and clean up the text messages, call log, and contacts on your Android phone, with the option to do the heavy lifting on the big screen of your computer, using a keyboard and mouse. Most backup apps can save and restore your messages but give you no way to actually look through them, search them, or clean them up first. Textuoso fills that gap. Pair your phone to the Textuoso web app (it runs in your computer's browser at textuoso.com), browse your entire history in a familiar, email-style layout, and sync your cleanup back to your phone. COMING FROM SAMSUNG MESSAGES? Samsung Messages has been retired, and Textuoso reads it directly. Back up your Samsung Messages conversations, including RCS* chats and their attachments, so you don't lose years of history when the app goes away. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Back up SMS, MMS, and RCS* messages, media, your call log, and your contacts. • Restore messages, media, call log, and contacts to the same phone or a new one. • Securely transfer and sync changes to your messages, media, call log, and contacts between your phone and your computer. • Schedule automatic backups, and capture only what's new with fast incremental backups. • From your computer, search across everything and filter by contact, date, message type, or attachments. • Use your computer to rapidly bulk delete messages, conversations, media, and contacts before you restore, or sync changes to your existing phone. • Export important media from your phone to any location you want. • Strip large photo and video attachments to shrink a backup while keeping the conversation intact. • Sort all media and file attachments by size or date. • Analyze statistics for all messaging. • Back up to your own computers, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and Dropbox. EFFICIENT CLEANUP ON A BIG SCREEN Cleaning up years of messages is painful on a small screen. Open textuoso.com in a desktop or laptop browser, pair your phone over your local network, and use a real keyboard and mouse for bulk cleanup that syncs back to your phone. MULTIPLE VAULTS, MULTIPLE LOCATIONS Keep more than one backup vault, each in a different place — your computer, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox. Textuoso manages them transparently, so your history stays protected in more than one location, not just one point of failure. ENCRYPTED BACKUPS Backups can be encrypted on your phone before they are written, so vaults are unreadable without your key, including ones stored in the cloud. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything is processed on your own devices. • The link between your phone and your computer is direct and end-to-end encrypted, so your messages never pass through a server. • No ads. No third-party analytics. No tracking. SEAMLESS MIGRATION FROM SMS BACKUP & RESTORE Already have backups from SMS Backup & Restore? Textuoso reads its XML backup files, so you can bring your existing history in seamlessly. View them, clean them up, and restore to any Android phone. BUILT FOR BIG BACKUPS Designed to handle very large histories (hundreds of thousands of messages) without choking your browser or phone. *RCS support may vary based on your Android version, phone manufacturer, and carrier. Textuoso is provided by StittHub, LLC.
