Surrey hard top aluminum insert is 'from the factory', and sports its original 'glass' curved rear window. The window is near flawless regarding scuffs or scratches, and in my opinion looks 'new old stock'. This is a remarkably well-preserved and maintained vehicle. Side note: The black vinyl top insert, in place of the 'red hard top', is brand new. Overdrive: Factory installed Overdrive was rebuilt in October 2025 and road tested by me on multiple occasions and works great. The OD unit drops the RPM's by 22% at highway speeds, reducing the wear on the engine. British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate [BMIHT] records indicate that this TR4 was dispatched to a Triumph dealership in Houston, Texas on March 5th, 1963. It was delivered in just about the way you see it here: Signal Red, black leather trim, Surrey Top, etc. The BMIHT Certificate accompanies purchase. Chrome wire wheels and new tires. Not the cheaper painted wire wheels.
