Following on from our coal mining risk assessment (CMRA) report Geoinvestigate are continuing drilling and trenching investigations this week to locate two mine shafts and shallow mine working impacting a bespoke housing development on the northwest fringe of Nottingham. So far Microdrilling ® identifies ‘broken ground’ and ‘voids’ everywhere in upper worked horizon ranging from a depth of 7m downslope to 12m upslope and down dip.
