Item - Vintage Large (6000 in 10's) Senior Service Cigarette Delivery Packing Box, Dated 14th March 1958; this box was produced to transport 6000 cigarettes in packs of 10 from Gallaher Limited of Virginia House, Manchester to a Newsagent on Charnley Road, Blackpool. An der barocken Öse der zugehörige Bandring aus Gold. Der Pour le Mérite mit deutlichen Tragespuren, Emailleschäden, ein Stück mit beeindruckender Ausstrahlung und sichtbarer Geschichte. Eine beachtliche Anzahl an Verleihungen aus den Befreiungskriegen gegen Napoleon, unter König Friedrich Wilhelm dem III., gingen an u.a. Offiziere der verbündeten russischen Armee. Aus dieser Zeit sind zahlreiche Fertigungsvarianten auch in Trägerporträts dokumentiert und nachgewiesen. Auch ausführlich beschrieben und dokumentiert in "Orden 1700-2000, Band 3".
