The Genesis Medical Scheme mobile App is a free, personalised & convenient tool members can use to stay in touch and up to date, 24/7. The following features are available on this App at the touch of a finger: · Convenient access to view or send your electronic membership card via email · Check your membership details · Check your medical savings balance (if any), as well as the full spectrum of your personal benefits · Contact us via phone or email · Call ER24’s 24/7 medical helpline or emergency services · View the status of your current claims · Obtain a hospital admission reference number · Answer your Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) · Visit all our social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest The mobile App, including the electronic membership card, are available to any existing Genesis Medical Scheme member to download, including all his / her beneficiaries (dependants), thereby improving their membership experience and empowering them with 24/7 access to their membership details, the Scheme and emergency services. All main members have to be registered as a website user - this can be done on either the MEMBER page on Scheme’s website (www.genesismedical.co.za), or directly on the mobile App. Thereafter, all the member’s dependants will be able to use the App once they have downloaded the App on their mobile phones and registered as a “Dependant”. Members will use the same password for this App as what they use to login on the Genesis Medical Scheme website.

KeyHealth

Since launching our first KeyHealth application in November 2013, we have enhanced the application considerably in order to improve our members’ experience. You and your dependants will each have your own online profile to access your own app. Access your electronic membership card, including children’s Easy-ER cards as well as emailing electronic membership cards to healthcare service providers and chat with us online and submit documents or claims. Based on your current location you can also find the nearest hospital emergency rooms or search for the hospital emergency rooms in a specific area and navigate your way to the emergency room. You can also request your travel letter instantly, register on the KeyHealth Smart Baby programme as well as register your newborn baby with a touch of a button. As the principal member, you will also be able to update your information, view documents such as your latest statement, tax certificate and general correspondence, and view messages sent to you via push notification. The Benefits and Claims tab allows you to view available savings, benefit limits and have easy access to claims submitted.
