The Magnetics Calculator provides a mobile APP to conveniently calculate the magnetic force F, the permeance coefficient Pc, and the demagnetizing factor N for the following magnet shapes: - Rectangular blocks - Axially magnetized Rings - Axially magnetized Cylinders The users can get the results by selecting one of three magnet shapes, and one of two steel boundary conditions, as well as inputting the magnet dimensions and magnet grade or the Br value. The calculator uses computer simulation data of magnets interacting with steel plates (cold rolled steel CR1010) that are both thicker and larger than the magnets.
