ISTUMBLE app analytics for January 22

Winncare has collaborated with the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust to develop ISTUMBLE ®, an algorithm and app used to determine the appropriate course of action in the occurrence of a fall. ISTUMBLE® empowers care providers to make good decisions around when to lift a fallen person and when to call an ambulance. A nationally recognised tool, the ISTUMBLE ® app is accredited by Orcha for use within the NHS. Used in conjunction with Mangar Lifting Cushions, the combination safeguards a fallen person by providing a safe and dignified lift, whilst protecting healthcare workers and carers from injury acquired through manual handling. Importantly, the ISTUMBLE® algorithm has been demonstrated to reduce the length of time that a fallen person is on the floor.
