LÉA by DriveQuant is a telematics tool for driving analysis that only uses smartphone sensors to calculate indicators that reflect your driving behaviour. The app offers fleet managers the opportunity to reward good road behaviours by organizing driving challenges, but also to help fleet drivers whose driving behaviour is less virtuous to improve it with in-app coaching tools. HOW DOES IT WORK? The app automatically detects motorized trips without any action on the part of the driver. It collects driving data and provides the driver with an analysis of each trip and statistics to monitor his progress. It provides two types of scores: A safety score that expresses the safety of the driving by analyzing the dynamic behavior of the vehicle on the road. A distraction score which measures interactions with the smartphone while driving. SMARTPHONES AND ROAD SAFETY We believe that this technology is particularly effective in protecting employees in a simple and fun way, by making them aware of good practices when behind the wheel. The assessment of driving behaviour is exhaustive, impartial and allows each driver to apprehend the risks he or she may take under real conditions.
