For instance, ”fossil”, “silver”, and “silence” have “sil” in common. But “sil” is not a typical prefix/suffix, as “fos”, “ver”, and “ence” are not words themselves. Are you wondering where the name came from? “Morpho” is a genus of butterfly, the most recognizable of which is the morpho peleides. The words in Morpho are styled to bear a passing resemblance to this beautiful butterfly’s iridescent blue wings.
