The InspireD Reminiscence App app analytics for January 9

Reminiscence is an activity that uses photographs, videos or sounds to prompt conversations about past experiences and important life events. The InspireD Reminiscence App has been designed to make reminiscence a more personalised and satisfying experience. The original idea for the app came from a group of people living with dementia and their carers working with researchers from Ulster University. However, the app has been designed to be used by anybody interested in reminiscence, including older people (living at home or in care settings), family members, friends, people living with dementia and health or social care staff across a range of care settings. The InspireD Reminiscence App is underpinned by extensive scientific studies which showed improvements in wellbeing, quality of life and quality of relationships among people who have used the app. The InspireD reminiscence app has been rigorously tested and approved as safe to use by the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA). The app is available in ORCHA’s digital health libraries of accredited, compliant, and safe products and apps https://appfinder.orcha.co.uk. Ultimately, the Inspired Reminiscence App is about prompting conversations and connections which can help build and sustain relationships, and in doing so improve quality of life and wellbeing.
