A sudoku is a grid of nine 9x9 boxes. The grid has 9 rows, 9 columns, and 9 square regions of 3x3.
The goal of Sudoku is to fill a 9x9 grid with numbers so that each row, each column, and each 3x3 section contains the numbers 1 to 9. At the start of the game, the 9x9 grid will have some boxes already filled in. Your task will be to use logic to fill in the missing numbers and complete the grid. Note that a move is incorrect if:
- Each row contains multiple instances of the same number from 1 to 9
- Each column contains multiple instances of the same number from 1 to 9
- Each 3x3 grid contains multiple instances of the same number from 1 to 9
Solving a sudoku puzzle requires logic. No mathematical calculations are necessary to find the solution. You may also like our other applications:
