BavAR[t] is an augmented reality platform dedicated to art and culture. BavAR[t] offers a map of augmented reality experiences to be experienced near you. For each creation viewed, the player collects virtual artworks. This allows the player to collect points exchangeable for vouchers for cultural products, such as tickets to a museum or a concert. On BavAR[t], three kind of contents can be visualized: the "3D creations", the "AR swipes" and finally the "Street Art". The 3D creations allow the player to visualize digital artworks, coming from 3D models or 3D scans. The Swipes provide 2D content (image) embedded in a 3D frame, visible in augmented reality, and on which the player can scroll the images by "swiping". Finally, the "Street Art" works allow to visualize, but also to reference, the street art works near you. In addition to being fun for the players, BavAR[t] wants to be a reference platform for cultural institutions and artists wishing to promote their work. The objective is also to give them the opportunity to present their own content on the platform, so that they can easily offer an augmented reality experience to their visitors or customers, using their own artworks. With BavAR[t], a centralizing platform, professionals from art & culture can really focus on the content of the augmented reality experience, to invent innovative campaigns to reach a new audience.
