Recent research cited by the World Health Organization and CDC has show that sedentary behavior is a leading contributor to all-cause mortality rates throughout the developed world. Get Up & Move offers six different 5-minute activity sessions (each with three levels of intensity) based on traditional Chinese Qigong techniques, yoga, and physical therapy. The app will help remind people to move more frequently by allowing them to schedule alerts six time throughout the day to participate in on of the activity sessions.
