Participate is envisaged as a "one stop shop" for families of children and young adults with neurological conditions and injuries - who are seeking information, reviews, community and professional advice on parks, playgrounds and places to visit around the Perth metropolitan area (Western Australia). Reviewed by the team at the Healthy Strides Foundation - a combination of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and the local disablility community here in Perth Australia - we've reviewed close to 100 parks and playgrounds, with many more updates to come over the summer months. There is a handy map of the parks all broken up by star rating, you can search by facilities (including accessible parking, play options, disability bathrooms, park mobility and safety) or location near you, keep a favourites list of your shortlisted parks and playgrounds and even share your own review with other users of the app.
