Tafsir Cheikh Ibrahim Niass Application An educational application that aims to serve the Holy Quran in exegesis (tafsir), reading and listening. The result of the hard work of a team of technicians, developers and specialists in the field of Islamic applications, the application presents a set of simple functionalities that offer users multiple options for browsing, starting with reading, exegesis (commentary) and listening. The application is a product of the network of Turath Faida Tijania, which has acquired an undeniable expertise in the dissemination and preservation of the heritage of the Tariqua Tijaniya. It was the head of this network, the young engineer Sidi Mohamed Ould Mohamed ‘Aaqib, who came up with the idea of digitizing the audio and written heritage of Sheikh Ibrahim Niass, as well as the heritage of the Tariqa Tijaniya in general, with the aim of bringing this patrimony to the level of cost-effective development of the use of new state of the art technologies. In order to achieve this, this team undertook an arduous adventure of vigils and countless itineration’s to find and collect this scattered heritage of audio exegesis (tafsir) in the Arabic and Wolof languages, whose magnetic recordings exceed the number of 750 cassettes, not to mention the use of means available locally and internationally, capable of converting these magnetic cassettes into digital audio, while processing them according to current advanced, state of the art technologies. The main features of the application are: - Display of the Qur'anic text in its Warsh and Hafs variant readings in two different colors; - Multilingualism, including Arabic English and French with easy, user-friendly switching between languages; - Customization of the application settings and content scrolling for each user, in terms of font size and type, as well as background color; - Availability of the audio tafsir of Cheikh Ibrahim Niass in Arabic and Wolof, with the possibility of downloading audio tracks and listening to them offline without an internet connection. - Visualization of a series of exegeses (tafsirs) in different languages, including "El Jalalein". - Possibility to listen to the various readings of the Quran by famous readers, following different recitations (Qirāʼāt); - Start a Khatma (complete recitation of the Quran): this option allows you to organize your Khatma in such a way as to define a daily quota in terms of content and reading time; - Add notes as needed when using certain verses or listening to tafsir passages or otherwise, keeping them and referring to them as needed; - Bookmark option to save the reading position reached and resume reading when needed; - Easy navigation between Juzs and pages; - Easy search facility through the Quranic text; - Ability to read at night; - Ability to share the application; To enjoy all these features and more Download the application now !
