This simple platform allows users to find new artists and artists to find new fans.  LOCALISM SIMPLIFIED We’ve consolidated arts events into one app that lets you search by event category, borough, or neighborhood. Find exactly what you’re into or discover something totally new. We seek out and consult local artists and small businesses to find the lesser known happenings in each neighborhood. Sharing and attending these events spotlights and supports them and gives the user a unique and authentic experience.  THIS ISN’T TRIP ADVISOR First-time visitors can find the city’s obscure offerings, as can locals who never realized their local bar has live music on Tuesdays. In—yc gives you access to both the popular and lesser-known artistic happenings for free. Filter events by price, type, or source.  A BULLETIN BOARD FOR THE CREATIVE COMMUNITY  Artists and small businesses can use in—yc to post and promote their events. Concerts, open mics, gallery shows, and more will appear on the simple, interactive map along with the event details users need to know. NO ALGORITHMS OR SPONSORED CONTENT Creatives who post their events can rest easy knowing it won’t be buried in users’ feed. We don't use algorithms, display sponsored content, or curate. The only thing we do is vet posts to ensure they're real and genuine—trust us, your posts will be seen by our users. A GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT  Artists and small businesses share posting access to the app via a referral code system: The referral code grants access for others to post their own event.
