AWKNG is a ministry on a mission to awaken people to a deeper understanding of the Bible, making high-level Biblical scholarship accessible to the everyday Christian. AWKNG was founded in 2020, serving students from around the world. Through our two ministries, AWKNG School of Theology & AWKNG Bible Community, we focus on providing the Body of Christ with resources to help them better engage and understand their Bible. AWKNG School of Theology is a non-accredited, online educational ministry focused on adult learning of the Bible. Our courses teach the Bible as a unifying meta-narrative, teaching students to interpret the Bible through ancient historical and cultural contexts. All course materials are in-depth, and thorough, challenging students to engage with their Bible and think critically. Yet, all courses are accessible, on-demand, free, and have no enrollment requirements or prerequisites. AWKNG’s second ministry, AWKNG Bible Community, focuses on sparking a love for reading and discussing the Bible with others. Through free Bible reading plans, study guides, community discussion groups, and Q&A style podcasts, this ministry focuses on helping people engage their Bible in greater ways.
