Construire en santé is the health promotion and management program of MÉDIC Construction. Its aim is to improve the health of insured members and their dependents while reducing insurance plan costs. Its approach focuses on lifestyle changes, whether related to mental or physical health or to medication use. The program is offered to members of most insurance plans and their dependents. However, the R3 plans (RC3, RE3, RF3, RL3, RM3, and RT3) and the Z plan are excluded. Construire en santé provides confidential access to various professional services, including: - A support service to resolve family, psychological, or other issues, and to offer educational therapy or occupational therapy services - A physical health service for adoption of healthy lifestyle habits (quitting smoking, weight loss, etc.) or better management of diseases such as diabetes and hypertension - A service for the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, compulsive gambling, major depression, or violent behaviour - A post-trauma intervention service (witness to an accident, etc.) - A service for preoperative, postoperative, pre-hospitalization, and post-hospitalization interventions (needs assessment, care coordination, etc.) As an Apple HealthKit or CareKit user, you may optionally integrate your step tracking data to enhance your experience related to wellness goals and challenges.
