Once a heart is broken, players must be cautious, as winning tricks with hearts can lead to penalty points. The player who plays the highest card of the leading suit wins the trick. The game continues until all cards are played, and points are tallied based on the cards won. The game ends when a player reaches 50 points or more, and the player with the lowest total score at that point is declared the winner. Basic Rules of the Game: The objective of Hearts is to avoid accumulating points. Players must follow suit when possible, aiming not to win tricks that contain hearts or the queen of spades, which carry penalty points. If a player wins all the hearts and the queen of spades in a single round, this is known as "Shooting the Moon." In this case, that player’s score resets to 0, while all other players receive a penalty of 26 points. At the end of the game, the player with the lowest score wins.
