Snail is a relaxing word puzzle: connect the letters, spell a word, and watch the level fill in. If you like crossword grids, word search and anagram puzzles, this is a calm one you can play offline.
Swipe the letters. Build the word. Breathe out.
The whole game rests on one move: drag your finger across the letters on the snail's shell and spell a word. Every word you find takes its place, and the level comes together piece by piece. There is nobody to race and nowhere to be late for.
HOW THIS WORD PUZZLE WORKS
At the bottom of the screen sits a wheel of up to five letters. Drag from letter to letter without lifting your finger and spell a word of three to eight letters. If the word fits, it lands. If it does not, nothing bad happens — you simply try again.
The same five letters give a different set of words every time, and that is the whole trick: the letters stay put while your head does the moving.
IF YOU LIKE WORD GAMES
Crossword grids, word search puzzles, anagram and scramble puzzles, spelling drills, hangman, letter chains — if any of those are your thing, Snail will feel familiar from the first level. It sits closest to a relaxing daily crossword: the same quiet pace, far fewer rules to learn.
YOU CANNOT LOSE
That is not a figure of speech. There is no losing in this puzzle:
• no timer on the level
• no lives and no hearts
• no game over screen
• no cap on how many tries you get
Play one level standing in a queue, or sit with it for an hour in the evening. The pace is yours, and the game has no opinion about it.
WHAT BREAKS UP THE ROUTE
• Wooden boards with a letter hidden underneath
• Ice-locked letters waiting to be freed
• Double super-letters that count for two at once
They change the rhythm rather than the difficulty.
THE WORD JAR
Sometimes those same letters spell a word the level never asked for. It does not go to waste: it drops into your word jar and pays you in coins. That is how the game rewards a wide vocabulary — spot a word nobody asked for and collect it anyway. No word finder, no dictionary, no guess work required: if you saw it, it counts.
A QUIET WORKOUT FOR YOUR BRAIN
Word puzzles are a gentle way to keep memory and logic in shape, and this one asks for attention rather than speed. No reaction tests, no pressure — just a calm word hunt and search for what comes next.
STUCK? NOT FOR LONG
A free hint opens up on its own after ten seconds — just wait and the game will help. If you would rather not wait, two helpers cost coins:
• the Magnet pulls one needed letter out of the wheel
• the Lantern lights up a whole word
Coins are earned by playing. No timer runs down while you think, and no hint asks you to watch an advert.
WHY THE SNAIL
Because a snail is in no hurry, and that is the whole idea. It carries its house, stops when it needs to, and still gets where it was going. The puzzle works the same way: it does not push, it does not scold you for a wrong guess, and it does not start playing anxious music when you think too long.
WHO THIS WORD GAME IS FOR
• Adults and seniors who like crossword and letter puzzles but are tired of squinting at tiny print
• Anyone who wants five quiet minutes between everything else
• Anyone keeping their brain and memory sharp with a daily puzzle
• Anyone who has had enough of timers, hearts and "come back tomorrow"
WHAT IS IN THE FIRST PACK
A hundred levels and 592 words. That lasts a long while if you play the way the game suggests: a few levels at a time, no marathons. More levels are already in the works.
HONEST ABOUT PURCHASES
There is one currency — coins — and ordinary play earns them. You can buy coins, but you never have to: no purchase unlocks levels or clears them for you. Nothing here is pay-to-win, because the word is spelled by whoever spotted it.
OFFLINE AND CHILL
Snail runs fully offline. On the subway, on a plane, at a cabin with one bar of signal — this word puzzle will not notice the difference.
Spell words. Take your time.
