On Health Connect, active minutes may be estimated using heart rate (if you grant permission) because Health Connect does not provide a single “active minutes” metric. You can change your source anytime in the app under Settings -> Fitness account. Health Connect on Android (optional) If you enable Health Connect, StepSmash requests access only to the data we need to run our fitness games and keep your progress up to date: • Steps: used for step-based challenges and Smash Bingo step tiles • Distance: used for Smash Bingo distance tiles • Heart rate and resting heart rate: used only to estimate heart rate based active minutes for Smash Bingo and challenges when “active minutes” is not provided by your connected tracker • Background access: used to keep game progress current and send optional reminders (for example, to sync or to flip tiles) while a game is active We do not sell your health data. We do not use health data for advertising. Our use of Health Connect data is limited to user visible gameplay features.
