Speak instead of type. Twik turns your voice into text that is ready to send. Twik is a voice dictation accessibility tool for Android. Speak the way you normally talk and Twik writes it out properly, so you never have to fix it before sending. Most built-in dictation writes down every word exactly as you said it, including the pauses, the restarts, and the mistakes. Twik understands what you meant and writes that instead. When you tap into a text field, a small Twik mic button appears above your keyboard. Tap it, speak, and your words go straight into the field. Your regular keyboard does not change. Twik works in WhatsApp, Gmail, Instagram, ChatGPT, Slack, Notes, and anywhere else you type. SPEAK THE WAY YOU ACTUALLY SPEAK Millions of people do not think in only one language. They start a sentence in one and finish it in another. Most voice apps force you to pick a single language and stay in it. Twik does not. Mix languages mid sentence and Twik keeps up, so you are never switching keyboards or repeating yourself. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE Android has no standard way for an app to know when you have tapped into a text box in a different app, or to write text into it. The Accessibility Service is the only method available, which is why Twik requires it. Twik uses it for four things and nothing else: Knowing when a text field is active, so the mic button can appear at the right moment. Writing your dictated words into that field once you have finished speaking. Knowing whether the keyboard is currently on screen, so the button can hide when it is not needed. Recording basic diagnostic information such as crashes and device type, used only to fix problems in the app. When you are not dictating, Twik reads nothing. It does not log what you type, monitor your screen, or gather information from other apps.
