Some limitations exist in the current VCMI that will be improved in the future releases: The AI has been written from scratch and can make mistakes that are not seen in the base game. The AI does not go through one-way portals. Custom maps that rely on this mechanic will not function properly. Some popular mod features are not fully implemented.
