The Hop Fastpass app helps you manage your Hop transit farecards for use on TriMet, C-TRAN and Portland Streetcar. With the Hop app, you can: Get a Virtual Hop Card • Add a virtual Hop card to Google Pay (Adult, Honored Citizen or Youth)* • NEW! Convert a plastic Hop card into a virtual Hop card • Simply tap your phone on the green Hop reader every time you board a bus or train Manage Your Hop Cards • Register your plastic Hop cards for balance protection • Load money on your card using a debit/credit card or Google Pay • Set up Auto-Load to top up your card automatically when your balance gets low • Check your balance, current fare and passes you’ve earned * ADULT RIDERS: If you’re 18-64 and not using Honored Citizen or Youth fares, you don’t need a Hop card or the Hop app to ride. You can instantly pay the Adult fare by tapping your phone or contactless credit/debit card on the green Hop reader as you board (no Hop card or app needed).
