You can also optionally check how your extra payments can bring down the total interest outgo and accelerate mortgage payoff. The amortization calculator also calculates the total of all payments including the one-time expenses & down payment, extra payments, taxes, insurance and fees. You are also presented with a detailed mortgage payment schedule.
