The usage is simple: launch this app on your mobile device and move it around. You will see that the magnetic field level shown on the screen is constantly fluctuating. Colorful lines represent the three dimensions and the numbers on top show the value of the magnetic field level (EMF). The chart will increase, and the device will vibrate and make sounds, announcing that metal is close. You can change the sensitivity of vibration and sound effects in the settings. You might use the Metal Detector to find electrical wires in walls (like a stud finder), iron pipes on the ground... or pretend it's a ghost detector and scare someone! You can also use this magnetometer as a scanner to find hidden devices – cameras, microphones or voice recorders! Metal Detector is available in the language set on your phone – now also in Russian, Spanish, and Indonesian! You can also find it in Portuguese, Turkish, and French. The accuracy of the tool depends entirely on the sensor in your mobile device. Please note that due to electromagnetic waves, the magnetic sensor is affected by electronic equipment. Metal Detector cannot detect gold, silver, and coins made of copper. They are classified as non-ferrous, which has no magnetic field. But maybe you will find a metal box with some treasure inside!
