You can become a member by filling in the online membership form, which you can find here. How much does the membership cost? A membership costs €50,- per year, which makes us one of the cheapest student associations in Groningen. This means that most activities cost a few euros, and you also have to pay a separate fee if you join a trip.   If necessary, you are able to pay the fee in instalments. AEGEE-Groningen has a weekly social drink every Wednesday night at café De Brouwerij, from 22.00 until 01.00. This is nothing more than a weekly get-together at our local café. It is completely free and open to join the social drinks, so you (and your friends) are always welcome! This is the moment for members to catch up with each other. Most committees and members meet up on Wednesday evening for dinner and then come to the social together. We even have a sweet deal with De Brouwerij with which we get a great discount on drinks! Do I have to be an active member to join activities? No! Everybody can join the activities, both local and European. You don’t have to be a member of a committee or team for this. Where is the AEGEE-Groningen office and when can I go there? The office is located at the Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat 9. The board is there the whole week to work, have meetings, and meet up with you!
