Comcast Technology Center is now Philadelphia’s tallest building and the most innovative, energy-efficient building in the city. Serving a workforce of over 4,000 people, the tower achieved Triple LEED Platinum certification and is 50% more energy efficient than its sister tower, the Comcast Center. Bala was the select MEP/FP engineer for the core & shell and interior fit-out, and also provided LEED Commissioning services. A chilled beam HVAC system with chilled water distribution, including two dedicated temperature loops, maximizes chiller plant efficiency.
