Sweet Williams or Dianthus make excellent cut flowers and will last long if the water is changed regularly. The stems reach 36" and are thick, strong, and glossy green, supporting huge blooms.  The longevity of the flower after cutting and its spicy fragrance makes it a popular ornamental flower used in displays and bouquets. Dianthus hold onto the fragrance long after cutting.Use only clean vases, remove bottom leaves if present, recut stems, use the fresh flower food pouches that Trikaya provides with each bunch and recut the bottom of the stems and change the water frequently when it gets cloudy.Has a long vase life of 6 to 8 days and even longer if the above steps are followed.
