This application offers healthcare professionals and medical students a comprehensive understanding of mechanical ventilation, enhancing their knowledge of patient-ventilator interactions. iVentilate provides a calculator for assessment of essential bedside formulas, accompanied by detailed explanations of their underlying principles. The application elaborates on common clinical indications, including acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), obstructive syndrome, and restrictive syndrome. Pathological cases are elucidated through ventilator screenshots, spanning from basic assessment to advanced understanding (over 60 screenshots). These screenshots are accompanied by annotations to clarify each situation and facilitate comprehension. Major studies are referenced to enhance the content’s relevance. The application’s user-friendly design ensures accessibility during bedside consultations. Each case is linked to relevant PubMed studies and accompanied by video tutorials. This content was crafted and compiled by H. Rozé, MD, PhD. He is the former head of the Thoracic Intensive Care Unit at Bordeaux University Hospital, France. For over a decade, Pr Rozé has managed ICU patients with diverse lung diseases, including Pulmonary Transplantation and an ECMO program for ARDS. His extensive research in mechanical ventilation has led to the publication of numerous studies, and he has developed with Pr Rémi Dubois, PhD, a virtual simulator of mechanical ventilation (SimVA) for educational purposes ([www.sim-va.com](http://www.sim-va.com/)).
