LYL is an international, cultural, and musical project promoting its activities and network mainly through its web radio. From its creation in Lyon in 2015, it has stayed DIY and defends the underground part of sound through 4 physical studios in Lyon, Paris, Brussels (Belgium), and Marseille where their regular hosts (label owners, musicians, DJs, specialists, geeks, and weirdos) gather to produce their shows. LYL also brings together more than a hundred international residents, coming from all over the world to add their weirdness to this beautiful mess.
The stream works 24/7 and lives shows air on Tuesdays (Paris), Wednesdays (Brussels), Thursdays (Lyon), and Fridays (Marseille and International shows) while the rest of the week serve special broadcasts, events, collabs and rebroadcasts which you can all listen through our App, as well as every octet of our archives ongoing from 2015 and have access to our written content: interviews, special selecta, tops, and more articles.
LYL remains an auto-financed entity, thriving on its volunteers and hosts’ dedication to their grand community and culture, which we’ll defend until the end, and hope you’ll join through this channel.

Unsound focuses on a broad swath of contemporary music — emerging, experimental, and leftfield — whose sweep doesn't follow typical genre constraints. Influential, it has developed a reputation for identifying innovative scenes and radical sounds.
Founded in 2003, Unsound wasn’t always the festival it is now. The very first edition ended with artists thrown out of a club for playing music that was too weird for regular patrons. Now, with the main festival still happening every year at a number of venues across Kraków, regular events also take place in New York, Adelaide, Toronto, and London. Between 2016 and 2018, Unsound also produced eleven festivals in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus, part of a long history of working with curators and artists in the post-Soviet region.
As well as spotlighting emerging artists, Unsound also commissions new shows and encourages transborder collaborations, adapts and reimagines abandoned spaces for concerts and club nights, manages cutting-edge artists, and is known for its sound-inspired Ephemera perfume project. Unsound is also a platform, commissioning and releasing new music and books.
The theme for Unsound Festival 2025 is WEB, connecting events in New York, Kraków and Osaka.
