Gear Calc is an Application by Frenco GmbH for the calculation of involute gearings. The data put in by the user and the calculated values can be shared easily with an integrated share function. The following Input variables are supported. Some variables are optional. - Internal spline / External spline - Number of teeth - Module - Pressure angle - Helix angle - Tooth thickness / Space width - Pin Diameter - Dimension over / between circles - Profile shift - Profile shift factor Apart from a mathematical approximation of the pin diameter there is an option to add pin diameters to a pin diameter list. The Application calculates both the dimension over / between circles for the approximation and the closest available pin diameter from the pin diameter list.
