Delivery Connect Mobile also provides integration with SPOT messaging and customer search functionality. Delivery Connect Mobile has the option to initiate SMS, Email or Push Notification with delivery, non-delivery and pickup events. “On demand” and “On the Fly” customer pickup requests are instantly integrated and processed with real-time updates and optimization. The application uses location services in both foreground and background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
