The Rutlands® cordless biscuit jointer delivers quick, consistent cutting for the precise and accurate biscuit jointing of hard, soft and composite woods. Powered by a 4.0Ah Li-ion battery, the high performance motor delivers reliable results for strong hidden joints across a multitude of applications.The turreted depth stop provides quick switching between one of six cutting depths – industry standard No 0, No 10, and No 20 biscuits, as well as a maximum depth setting and specialist settings for Simplex and Duplex fittings. The fence features smooth rack and pinion adjustment, allowing you to dial in the cutting height up to 35mm from an edge with a fine degree of accuracy against the graduated scale. For stock 16mm thick or less, an optional attachment plate ensures that the groove is not cut too close to the upper surface of the workpiece. Once set, the quick action locking lever locks the fence securely in place with zero play or movement.The cutting angle can be adjusted through a 90° range, with positive stops at 0°, 45° and 90° for fast setup of common angles. Each cast aluminium component has been precision machined on all working faces to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and strong, well aligned joints. A soft rubber mouth around the blade opening provides stable, non-slip contact with the surface whilst cutting. Two spring loaded guide posts provide an ultra-smooth, controllable plunge motion with positive return. The 100mm diameter, 6 tooth TCT blade leaves a clean, feather free slot for precise biscuit placement.Well balanced in the hand, the biscuit jointer is comfortable to use and features an oversized top mounted handle and an ergonomic contoured rear grip. The top mounted switch is easily operated and can be locked on for continuous use. The 30mm outside diameter port can be used with the included dust bag or connect directly to workshop vacuums or dust collectors. Supplied with an 18V 4.0Ah battery and 60 minute charger. ©
