This calibration frequency depends on the application, but once every year is generally recommended for accelerometers. Sending back your unit for recalibration will provide you with the confidence necessary to know that your accelerometer remains accurate. If your device is not functioning or is otherwise unable to pass calibration, enDAQ will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain your device to the best of our ability. If the device is not able to be repaired, the recalibration charge will still be incurred but the cost can be reimbursed in the form of a credit on the order of a replacement device.
