They come on when a note is reliable, and they never go out — nothing decays because you were away for a week. HONEST ABOUT WHAT THIS IS Absolute pitch in adults is contested. In published training studies roughly one in five to one in three committed adults reached criterion, and the average was about seven of twelve pitch classes after some twenty-one hours of practice. This app does not promise more than that. What it does promise is that the training is built on what was actually measured: masked intervals, feedback half a second after the answer, and pitch class rather than pitch height.
