FSX Pilot Tools – Your Flight Sim Cockpit Companion Built for serious simulator pilots, FSX Pilot Tools brings airport search, ILS lookup, route planning, AI simulator briefs and essential flight utilities into one clean, fast cockpit app. Whether you fly FSX, Prepar3D, X-Plane or Microsoft Flight Simulator, FSX Pilot Tools helps you find the information you need quickly, without digging through charts, menus or browser tabs mid-session. NEW: Choose Your Airport Database FSX Pilot Tools now includes database selection. Use the original FSX Database for the standard Microsoft Flight Simulator X data set, or switch to the Updated FSX Database based on our expanded airport data. The Updated FSX Database includes additional and modified airport, runway and ILS records, and will continue to be refreshed in future App Store updates. What’s Included Airport & ILS Database Search a built-in local airport database with thousands of airports and ILS runway records. Find airport data by ICAO, airport name, city, country, runway, frequency or ILS identifier. View runway references, ILS frequencies, headings, approach details and communication frequencies from one place. The app shows the selected database version, airport count and ILS record count directly inside the app, so you always know which data package you are using. Fast ILS Lookup Quickly search ILS approaches and view the key values that matter most: • ILS frequency • Localizer heading • Runway reference • ILS name and identifier • Airport details • Surface and runway information Smart Route Planning Plan direct great-circle routes between airports with distance, estimated time, bearings, fuel estimate and map preview. The Route Planner includes: • Departure and arrival airport selection • Cruise speed input • Fuel estimate • Distance and time calculation • Initial and arrival bearings • Route map preview • Exportable route PDF AI Simulator Route Brief On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can generate a plain-language simulator route brief from your selected route. Use it to review route overview, navigation notes, time and fuel information and simulator reminders before your flight. AI route briefs are designed for simulator use only and are not for real-world aviation operations. Essential Pilot Utilities FSX Pilot Tools includes practical flight sim calculators and utilities for fast cockpit checks: • Distance Calculator • Route Planner • Fuel Calculator • Descent Calculator • Top of Climb Calculator • Crosswind Calculator • Winds Aloft tools • Zulu time and quick reference utilities Built for Simmers FSX Pilot Tools is made for virtual pilots who want reliable information quickly.
