Save the official Eurocontrol approach and departure charts for IFR flights to your iPad. The charts are stored offline to gain access during flight. Therewith you always will have the most current issue of SIDs, STARs, and ARRIVALs on hand. Even during flight without internet connection, the charts are stored on your device. Changes are highlighted by a yellow bar on the table view, so you are quickly informed which charts have been changed since last update. Zooming and panning allows to enlarge the charts for better visibility.
