FOUR WAYS TO PLAY • Chromatic: laid out like a piano, with black key incidentals, pitch and modwheel shortcuts. • In-Key: set a key and lock yourself to its scale. Wrong notes are hard to play. • Fourths: a grid tuned in fourths, letting you transpose chord shapes across the scale. • Chord: one key, one chord. Major, minor, dim, aug or sus, with 6, m7, M7 or 9 on top. EXPRESSION, FROM THE KEYS • Number-row shortcuts for pitch bend and modwheel. • Hold the spacebar as a sustain pedal. • Shift switches between two velocities for extra dynamics. • Change the root, scale or octave and the whole board moves with it.
