The mixing is built on a pigment model of how paint absorbs and scatters light, so colours behave the way they do on a real palette. Blue into yellow gives green. A speck of black kills a highlight. White lifts a colour without shifting its hue. The canvas is a fluid simulation. Paint sits thick where you put it and blends where you drag it. Nothing is tapped through a menu. You scrub the colour together with a brush and a knife until it is even, because a streaky pot cannot be judged. Matches are graded on how the eye sees colour, not on raw numbers. A perfect score means the difference is invisible.
