The University of Trento encourages the continuous quality enhancement of programmes, of research, of the Third Mission (TM) and of Departments. The quality assurance, as far as the University is concerned, is described in detail in the dedicated webpages. It promotes observation, over a period of time, of the results of teaching and learning, of research and of the Third Mission by using tools laid down by the AVA framework (Self-assessment, evaluation and accreditation of the Italian university system).
