Life isn't about becoming less autistic—it's about understanding yourself, building a life that works for your nervous system, and finding a community where you belong. Glimmernest is a neuroaffirming companion created to help autistic adults understand their unique patterns, reduce burnout, develop practical coping strategies, and celebrate the moments that bring joy. Whether you're newly discovering you're autistic or have known for years, Glimmernest provides tools designed to support self-understanding rather than encourage masking. Built by an autistic therapist, Glimmernest was inspired by the experience of living like a fruit bat in a bird's world—trying to navigate environments that were never designed with your brain in mind. Every feature reflects both lived experience and professional expertise, creating a space where autistic people can feel understood instead of expected to fit someone else's definition of "normal." Explore interactive regulation tools for meltdowns, shutdowns, sensory overload, executive functioning, communication, and daily planning. Track your mood, energy, sensory experiences, and masking patterns over time while gentle AI-powered insights help you recognize trends and better understand your needs. Discover sensory-friendly places in your community with ratings for noise, lighting, crowds, accessibility, and accommodations. Find coffee shops, libraries, parks, and other locations that fit your sensory profile so you can navigate the world with greater confidence. Build your own Glimmer Garden, a calming virtual space that grows as you record moments of joy, accomplishment, and connection. Celebrate progress through small wins instead of perfection while unlocking new experiences and participating in community challenges.
