Analyse de l'application Ozelan pour le 12 octobre

Ozelan is a screen-print studio for your iPhone. Bring in a photograph, choose one to four spot inks, and watch the app do what a print shop does: separate the image into ink coverage maps, run each through a halftone screen at its own angle and frequency, then re-composite the result the way ink actually sits on paper. Every pixel comes out of the ink model. This is not a filter. The Halftone Lab is the signature experience. Touch an angle dial and the whole print re-screens live under your finger. The rosette forms and breaks in real time. The moire meter tracks the beat between every pair of screens as you drag, turning screen-print science into something you can feel. Snap to classic angles with a haptic tick, or let Auto-space set all your screens 30 degrees apart in a single tap. Build posters without leaving the ink model. Procedural sun discs, speed lines, cloud banks and type are drawn directly into the coverage maps before screening, so your generated art and your photograph share one grain and read as a single print. Export the finished poster and every individual separation film — the files a real shop burns screens from. Starter recipes — Poster Scarlet, Two-Ink Riso, Newsprint Black, Duotone Warm, Four-Colour Rosette, Blueprint — show exactly what each approach does when applied to the same photograph. The built-in Method Sheet explains Murray-Davies dot gain, the Neugebauer equations and every spot function, each with a live interactive diagram driven by the real engine.
