Analyse de l'application Scrub Data: Photo Privacy pour le 10 octobre

Photos can contain hidden information you may not realize you're sharing. Exact GPS coordinates of your home, camera details, timestamps, and personal identifiers travel with every picture you send. Scrub Data shows you what's there, explains the privacy risk in plain language, and lets you remove sensitive data before you share. One simple tool for safer photo sharing. $2.99 — One-time purchase. No subscriptions. No accounts. THE THREE QUESTIONS SCRUB DATA ANSWERS 1. "Can my photo reveal where I live or where I was?" Yes. Most smartphone photos embed precise GPS coordinates. Scrub Data displays this immediately on a private, offline map preview so you see exactly what anyone receiving the photo can discover. 2. "Can I remove sensitive data before sending it?" Yes. Choose what to remove in a single tap: - Privacy Essentials: Strips location, device identifiers, and timestamps, keeping harmless camera settings. - Remove All Data: Completely wipes all metadata blocks for absolute privacy. 3. "Can I trust that it was actually removed?" Unlike other apps that just say "metadata removed," Scrub Data re-scans the cleaned file to prove it. You get factual verification that sensitive data is genuinely gone before you share. HOW IT WORKS: INSPECT → UNDERSTAND → SCRUB → VERIFY → SHARE 1. INSPECT: See hidden metadata inside your photo. Select a photo directly with Apple's private photo picker. Scrub Data reads embedded tags locally—nothing ever uploads to the cloud. 2. UNDERSTAND: Get a simple privacy risk report. No technical jargon. You get a clear 0–100 Privacy Risk Score and a plain-language breakdown: - Location: Shows if your physical coordinates and altitude are exposed. - Device: Shows if your camera make, model, and serial numbers are attached. - Timing: Shows exact date and time stamps. 3. SCRUB: Remove sensitive information. Strip unwanted data in one tap. Your original photo in your library is never altered or overwritten; Scrub Data creates a separate, sanitized copy. 4. VERIFY: Confirm what remains. Scrub Data performs an automatic post-clean verification pass. We check the result so you have complete confidence before you send. 5. SHARE: Send the cleaned copy. Share directly via Messages, AirDrop, Mail, or save the sanitized photo to your library.
