The Hood River County Sheriff’s App is an interactive mobile app which aims to improve communication with the citizens of Hood River County, Oregon. The Sheriff’s App allows citizens 24/7 access to contact information, news releases and notices, emergency alerts, local weather, events, FAQs, current inmates and more. Citizens have the ability to submit crime tips directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. The “Where am I” feature allows citizens the ability to map their current longitude and latitude for tracking purposes. By empowering citizens through technology, the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office will be able to better serve and protect the citizens of Hood River County.
