While using the app, Xplora may need permissions to access the camera and external storage for taking and accessing the tests photos. To analyze and manage the results, a stable internet connection and permissions for full network access, phone status and device's location are necessary. Downloads and photo analysis may require data usage charges. All data is encrypted, anonymous and they are not shared with any third party.

VELLAP SCAN is an app for quantitative evaluation and documentation of VELLAP tests. The integrated AI ensures the precision of a laboratory measuring device at the point of care. VELLAP SCAN uses your smartphone's built-in camera to register a VELLAP test cassette based on its individual code and supports test execution with an integrated multi-timer that automatically adjusts to the required readout time and, if necessary, also makes it easy to process several tests in parallel.
After the readout time has elapsed, you can use the app to record the test result – objectively and within seconds. The result is immediately available in the app and in the VELLAP portal.
With VELLAP SCAN, you can also do all your work offline. The AI runs locally on your smartphone. This makes the app suitable for work environments that do not allow an active connection.
VELLAP SCAN can be used with all in-vitro diagnostic products from VELLAP Diagnostics GmbH.
