In one sentence, The Noisy Brain encourages people to get their mental and emotional health experiences out into the open, by writing them down and sharing them. The concept is to use these ‘writings’, craft them into lyrics, and the lyrics into songs. OUR HEALING JOURNEY The Noisy Brain is a community-first project spreading mental health awareness, literacy and support through writing, music and peer groups. People living with mental and emotional issues are still a marginalised group, often lacking opportunity to be listened to and understood. We believe that healing can’t happen in isolation, but has to be situated within a social context in which stories can be heard. The Noisy Brain provides such a context, hosting and positively framing mental illness stories that otherwise would remain invisible, charged with shame and guilt. By focusing the tone on artistic expression and successful music production, we aim to encourage confidence and hope to help towards facilitating recovery with this creative and caring outlet. We politely ask you to please consider an upgrade by paying the monthly subscription fee of £7.50 OR £90 yearly. The monthly subscription will help towards; funding online counselling/therapy sessions for those in our community struggling with their mental and emotional health issues, media campaigns to amplify our cause, promote musicians, will allow subscribers complete access to all our exclusive content and will also help towards paying for basic operations. With this we hope to continue helping as many people as we can.
