MuYu (pronounced: Moo You) is a traditional Chinese percussion instrument. Commonly known as a "wooden fish," the MuYu is made by hollowing out a rounded block of wood. The blocks are then carved into the shape of a fish. Sounds are made by striking the "wooden fish" with a stick or mallet. Various tones are produced by the different sizes of "wooden fish." Chinese MuYu is a "wooden fish" simulator. When you touch the various "fish" your device will produce the sounds as if you were knocking the wood block with a stick. You can pick a song from your device's playlist from within the app. Simply tapping the "Music" button will give you a list of the songs on your device.
