There are many topics to discover and this app helps children to understand their local weather but also global weather phenomena! This app relies on the the initial STEM foundation and provides standards-based structured inquiry-based and real world problem-based learning, connecting parts from all four of the STEM and STEAM subjects. There is also an emphasis placed on bridging in-school and out-of-school STEM learning opportunities. The question “what should I wear?” prompts children to dress their individually chosen figure in clothes suitable for the current weather conditions. The children can create their own weather and find out how thunder storms occur. "This is my Weather – Meteorology for Kids" is also ideal for use in kindergartens and schools.
